Retro-Comic

Powered by Fredrick Haugen’s classic cartoon style, the firm’s signature property is the whimsical webcomic Rinky Dink™. An artist since he could hold a crayon, Fredrick earned a BA in Studio Art at St. Olaf College and also studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

His media experience includes writing and producing 2 children’s television series and running a computer animation firm where his clients included the NFL. His cartoon characters have been featured in national print and TV campaigns——including animated ads for HBO Family.
